THE GAME
Like all our games, Survivor is hosted by one of our awesome professional actors who channel their inner (Jonathon Lapaglia) game-show host to bring you all the suspense and entertainment you could hope for. The game begins with an official Tribe Naming Ceremony where teams receive their Immunity Idol necklace and 5 lettered tiles which represent 1 point each. The aim of the game is simple; be the tribe with the most points by the end of day! However, to get there you’ll be faced with a series of challenges that will require your team to play to their strengths, form alliances, make (and break) promises, and strategise your way to the top.
To earn more letter tiles throughout the game your tribe will need to place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in a challenge. If you place last? Your tribe will be forced to hand over a tile to another team! To add another layer of strategic game-play, each challenge begins with an introduction where teams are given the opportunity to purchase head starts, hints, or extra materials with their letter tiles. Is it worth spending a point to gain an advantage?
The challenges are all inspired from the Immunity Challenges on the show, but with our own awesome, less-tortuous twist. You’ll be constructing contraptions, operating giant slingshots, deciphering ancient symbols, eating strange food combinations, testing your memory, and more! It’s a good thing that no one gets voted out; you’ll need all the members of your tribe to play to their strengths to earn those tiles.
The final challenge – worth double points – will see tribes attempt to make the highest scoring word they can from the letter tiles they’ve earnt, won, or traded throughout the day. The more tiles you have, the trickier it will be to use all your tiles, giving all teams a chance to catch up and steal the last points up for grabs. After a rollercoaster of challenges and game play, the victorious tribe is finally revealed and awarded with their medals!
