THE GAME

The Amazing Race with Bars is an interactive game with checkpoints to locate and awesome challenges to complete! It’s definitely not a pub crawl, but you will stop in at 2-3 bars along the way: the perfect amount to kick-start your festivities and keep the game fun and social. It all begins with our Opening Ceremony where our entertaining professional actor host will explain the game, how you play, and most importantly, how you win! Your group will be divided into smaller teams (let the rivalry begin) and each team will receive their race kit, map, and a list of checkpoints that are to be completed in any order; this is choose-your-own-adventure realness!

This game has something for everyone; codebreakers, puzzles, eating competitions, public interaction, creative photo bonuses and bar puzzles. The bar puzzles are non-drinking based (but can be done with a drink in hand…what a coincidence!) and will get the whole team involved as you attempt to solve the riddle or crack the code before time/your beer runs out. Whether you choose to have a water or wine, these bar stops give the game that perfect mix of competition and celebration.

Other checkpoint challenges will see teams following cryptic clues and interacting with our hosts, the public, and the hidden secrets of the city. Creative bonus challenges can win your team valuable points, injects even more fun and laughter into the day, and means that winning has nothing to do with being the fittest or the fastest; this game is designed to be awesome fun for everyone! Add the elements of sabotage and Lady Luck and we’ve just turned “going out for a few drinks” into an epic game.

When teams have completed all their mandatory checkpoints and attempted as many bonus challenges as possible, they head back to the final destination (a bar, of course) to officially check in! Teams swap game strategies, stories, and photos and try to figure out which team is destined for glory. Once all teams are checked-in our host will present our nail-biting, omg-I-hope-we-won Closing Ceremony where bonus points and team placings are revealed one-by-one. Finally the victorious team is announced, awarded with their medals and the best prize of all: their bragging rights!
