Sydney Amazing Challenge

The Amazing Challenge is a supercharged event based on the television phenomenon "The Amazing Race". This is a chance to get you and your friends off the couch and into the race!

A dynamic opening task allows you to meet your team and quickly ignites the competitive spirit. Teams will follow route information cards to 5 checkpoints across the Sydney CBD, parklands and harbour foreshore. With Detours, Roadblocks, Yields and Fast Forwards this race has all the elements of the actual television show. Bonus tasks and checkpoint challenges ensure that it’s not the fastest team that takes out the day, a subtle mix of time and skill will see everyone contending for victory. Our closing ceremony introduces a surprising twist throwing the whole game up in the air; even the most confident teams will be the edge of their seats.

The Amazing Challenge is an outrageous social adventure. You will want to come back and do it time and time again.

  • When: We run open Amazing Challenges every couple of months. The next open Amazing Challenge will be held as follows:  
    • Saturday 26th May at 10.30AM - New Date Announced! 
  • Duration: Please allow 4 hours
  • Price: $66 per person (incl GST)
  • Team Size: The maximum team size is 7 people. Teams of 3 or less will be teamed up with another small group. If you are booking for 8 or more people we will create 2 teams of 4.   
  • Location: The Amazing Challenge starts at the rotunda in the middle of Belmore Park, Eddy Ave opposite Central Station. Please arrange to be here 15 minutes prior to your start time so we can complete registration and get the race started on time. This event will finish in The Rocks.
  • Parking: Parking in the city is extremely limited and can be quite expensive so we strongly recommend catching public transport into the city. Please allow extra time if catching public transport.
  • In the event of rain: Unless notified you should assume your race is on as we operate rain or shine. No refunds will be given to no-shows.
  • What you need to bring:
    • Comfortable walking Shoes – high-heels are probably not suitable.
    • Money – For a couple of very small purchases in route
    • Mobile Phone – Each team will be required to carry at least one mobile phone 
    • Camera – For photo tasks. Camera phones are fine :)
    • Theme – Feel free to come dressed in theme
    • YOUR SENSE OF ADVENTURE
